Trip Overview
Sandakphu-Phalutt Falls trek (Darjeeling Hills) in the National parks and is one of the popular trekking trails in DGHC (Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council) the best season being late march to the end of May and then early Sept-December. This is a circular route, thus attracting hundreds of trekkers every season to enjoy the view of Everest ranges on the Nepal side. Recently it’s a mandatory that a guide from the local area will join the group on daily payment for the local benefit.

We did the 12-day itinerary trekking to Everest Base Camp. We booked it all from England and communicated with the owner Hari via email. Such a nice family that owns and runs this business. Very friendly and welcoming. We had loads of cups of tea with them in their shop in Thamel before and after our trek.
