Trip Overview

This is the longest and the most difficult trek and requires not only excellent health but also a high spirit of adventure. The combination of distance, altitude, weather, and remoteness makes this a tough journey. The trek crosses eleven high passes over 4,500m that define the borders of Bhutan and Tibet. Savoring views of Chomolhari and Jichu Drake, we follow trails through yak herders encampments and isolated farming settlements as we prepare for our trek to Lunana. Amid a constant backdrop of 7000m peaks, we discover a region of tiny Buddhist monasteries and secluded villages that are isolated from the rest of Bhutan for many months of the year. This is Himalayan trekking at its absolute finest.

Client's Reviews

Nepal is a nation between India and Tibet known for its temples and Himalayan mountains, which include Mt. Everest. Kathmandu, the capital, has a mazelike old quarter filled with Hindu and Buddhist shrines.

We did the 12-day itinerary trekking to Everest Base Camp. We booked it all from England and communicated with the owner Hari via email. Such a nice family that owns and runs this business. Very friendly and welcoming. We had loads of cups of tea with them in their shop in Thamel before and after our trek.
